Ajolote Hosting
Acceptable use policy
Last updated: September 10, 2026
These rules protect players, especially minors, as well as other customers and our infrastructure. Breaking them can lead to immediate suspension.
1. Who this applies to
This policy is part of the Terms of service and applies to everyone who uses Ajolote Hosting: account holders, invited collaborators, and anyone who manages a server. Whoever purchases a server is responsible for what happens on it, including the actions of the players and administrators they invite.
2. Child protection: zero tolerance
Any content that sexualizes minors is prohibited in any format: images, video, audio, text, drawings, AI-generated content, skins, maps, builds, roleplay, or links to such material. On any indication we immediately suspend the server and the account, without prior notice and without refund, preserve the evidence, and report it to the competent authorities. We will not notify the person involved when doing so could put a victim or an investigation at risk.
3. Minors in communities
Many Minecraft players are minors. It is prohibited to contact minors for sexual purposes or manipulation (grooming), ask them for photos, personal data, or their location, move conversations to private channels for that purpose, extort them, or expose their data. Server administrators must moderate their servers, remove anyone who engages in this conduct, and report it. Do not collect personal data from minor players beyond what the game needs. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian to purchase the service.
4. Illegal activity and fraud
You may not use the service for activity that is illegal under Mexican law or the law where you are located. This includes using cards or accounts that are not yours, fraudulent chargebacks, impersonation, selling stolen accounts, scamming players with ranks, items, or payments that are never delivered, and running real-money gambling.
5. Infrastructure security
It is prohibited to host or distribute malware, botnets, command-and-control servers, or phishing pages; launch attacks from our infrastructure, such as denial of service, booter or stresser services, port scanning, brute force, or exploiting third-party vulnerabilities; mine cryptocurrency; operate proxies, VPNs, or Tor exits for third parties; bypass your plan limits; or disrupt other customers' servers.
6. Content and intellectual property
Do not distribute software or content without the necessary rights: paid mods or plugins without a license, modified or cracked clients, unauthorized accounts, or leaked material. Modpacks you install must respect their authors' licenses. We respond to notices from rights holders and may remove the reported content.
7. Harassment, hate, and violence
Harassment, threats, publishing other people's personal data (doxxing), hate speech, incitement to violence, promotion of terrorism, encouragement of self-harm, and spam are prohibited.
8. How we act
We do not actively review server contents, but we act on reports and technical signs of abuse. When there is a report or concrete evidence, we may review the files, logs, and activity of the server involved. Depending on severity, we may warn, remove content, suspend, or terminate the service without refund. In serious cases, such as those involving child protection or attacks, we act immediately and without prior notice.
9. Cooperation with authorities and data retention
When we investigate a case, we preserve related information: account data, payments, IP addresses, and server activity. We respond to requests from competent authorities in accordance with applicable law. How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy notice.
10. How to report abuse
Email abuse@ajolote.lat with the server address (domain or IP and port), the approximate date and time, what happened, and how to find it. If it involves child sexual abuse material, do not download, forward, or attach it: just tell us where it is. If a child is in immediate danger, first call your local emergency number (911 in Mexico) and also report it to the police or cybercrime authorities where you live.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to respond to new risks or legal changes. We will publish the date of the last update, and continued use of the service means you accept it.
